Joint SMC-AMP Annual Meetings Presentation 2026

The Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) Alliance and the Alliance for Malaria Prevention (AMP) Partnership convened their first joint annual meetings from 24–27 February 2026, at the Speke Resort Munyonyo, on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kampala, Uganda, with both in-person and virtual participation.

Throughout Days 1 and 2 (February 24-25), all participants jointly participated in fully integrated plenary sessions combining SMC and AMP. On Days 3 and 4 (February 26-27), the programme was held in parallel, standalone sessions, with the SMC Alliance discussing seasonal, perennial, and other malaria chemoprevention campaign updates from different implementing countries.
